The 2020 St Kilda Festival and Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee is fast approaching and we are looking for several enthusiastic and responsible volunteers to give a helping hand.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience working within a major festival environment.

Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee festival is a two-day celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and culture which is held on Saturday 1st of February 2020.

St Kilda Festival is a one-day Australian music festival and will be held on Sunday 9th February 2020.

Your responsibilities as a volunteer will include:

  • Distributing Festival information and brochures
  • Answering questions and directing attendees regarding program activities, locations etc.
  • Bump in / bump out
  • Assisting with general event activities

Priority will be given to applicants currently studying or recently graduated in the fields of event management, music business or similar courses.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must be over 18 (at time of event) to apply


Working with Children’s Check

As part of Council’s commitment to Child Safe Standards, we will be requiring all our Festival volunteers to hold a current Working with Children Check. As a volunteer, it is free to apply.
